Ostrov/RUS – Each year, the Russian Cross Country Summer Champpionchip takes place in this small city close to the Baltic border. Hundreds of sportsmen come with their coaches and teams to check their form and fitness before the last weeks of their winter preparation.

HOLMENKOL – official skiwax supplier of the Cross Country Skiing Federation of Russia - was invited to add its experiences to support the Russian athletes on the way to their victories in the new winter season.

For this, one of the world`s greatest experts travelled the long way to Ostrov: HOLMENKOL racing chief XC/Biathlon, Thomas Burmann, shared his outstanding knowledge with the best Russian servicemen.

This included experiences from the last World Cups, testing results and application advise, even down to the smallest details which should give the Russian National team the best support for LICENSE TO WIN on the racing tracks around the world and within the Russian Federation.

NANO-CFC – the latest invention by HOLMENKOL – was in the main focus of interest, especially after the victories in the World Cup, the gold medals at the Russian Championships by the ROCHEV SKI CLUB and the podium places at the 50k Festival of the North in Murmansk.
