The Chinese biathlete Wang Chunli has started the World Cup season with a great victory in the womens sprint at Östersund. This is the first success of the new cooperation between HOLMENKOL and the national team of the Chinesse  womens biathlon team. The German shootingstar Magdalena Neuner and the Norwegian Tora Berger finshed  second and third.

Kathi Wilhelm another HOLMENKOL athlete also enjoyed a succesfull start of the season at Östersund. In the single women challenge she achieved second place sixth place at the sprint and a brilliant sixth place in the pursuit.
