HOLMENKOL athlete Thomas Freimuth showed almost 3.000 competitors his back and took after a long fight over 53 km the victory at Canada`s biggest cross country marathon, the Gatineau loppet in the Quebec region on sunday the 15th of February.
Thomas, finishing last year 3rd on the same race, trusted once again in the performance of NANO-CFC powders and received now after great results at Marcialonga (5th) and König-Ludwig-Lauf  (7th) another trophy, showing that he is probably among the best marathon racers on the globe.  
Close to the podium places and currently ranked among the top ten in the Worldloppet overalls, his next stage will be the American Birkebeiner on the coming weekend, where he is is nobody else than the top favourite to take the victory back home to Germany.
