Wednesday the 08.07.2009. Punctually at 04:30 a.m. Christian Kuhlmann, Tino´s sports manager, came on site to pack Tinos clothing and equipment. The weather was good, it was dry. Tino felt good and did very well, Mittenwald km 52 at 06:40 a.m., Innsbruck km 100 at 08:45 a.m.. Around 10:26 a.m. at km 137, he reached the highest point of the tour.
As he arrived in Brixen he took a short lunch break. He struggled through the city of Bolzano and the next one was right there, Trento. After a last short break in Roveretto at 17:30 p.m., he had another 20 km and a brief rise over the Pass de Giovanni. Then he saw the Lake Garda and knew that his dream come true.
