On Saturday afternoon at 15.00 pm the heat battle over 30 rounds with a total length of 72 km started. The thermometer showed 38 ° C in the shadow and the race was also really hot. They constantly attacked right from the beginning on. I had problems to stay in the main field. After one third of the race I could not hold the speed and fall back. In a group of five riders I have finished the race and tried to safe energy for the time trial.

The time trial was held on Sunday morning. The temperatures were still very bearable. The race course had a length of 21 km and was completely flat except two highway bridges.
